Visit Pompeii Ruins
A dip into the past. Your Travel Assistant will take you to the Porta Marina Superiore entrance where you’ll meet an archaeological English-speaking guide. That professional guide will show you one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the world, where a culture was captured forever by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Walking through the ancient gateway leading into Pompeii is like stepping back in time. You’ll see the Forum, heart of the ancient city, theatres where the people of Pompeii went for a bit of entertainment, villas, shops where they worked, food shops where they ate, commercial districts, public baths or “thermae” where they relaxed and socialized. You will catch a glimpse of daily life for the ancient Romans, diving into the past. At the end of the visit you’ll find your personal Travel Assistant waiting for you at the exit. He will lead you to the Antiquarium of Boscoreale founded thanks to the finds from Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis, Stabiae, Terzigno, and Boscoreale. It shows the main aspects of the Vesuvian area during the Roman age and how people made use of natural resources. At the end of the visit, your Travel Assistant will take you to a typical Vesuvius farm house where you will have lunch eating Neapolitan food, drinking Vesuvius wine and relaxing in the shade of the trees. If you want, a Tenor will entertain you by singing romantic songs.
